Rockmelon, Petit Gris De Rennes  (Cucumis Melo)

We noticed this variety was well suited to our cooler climate better than other varieties of rockmelon. Getting used to when they are ripe was a small learning curve like many melons. Overall this is a beautiful French heirloom that is sweet, flavourful and perfumed. The fruit has a green-grey rind. It is mature early and performs well in cool climates. This fine French variety is of the best quality, and still popular in France.
