Agretti (Salsola soda)
Known as 'Roscano' or 'Barba di Frate' (Monk's Beard) in Italy or plain old 'Saltwort' in English. Agretti is an Italian delicacy. It produces fleshy needle-shaped leave with a mildly salty, mineral tang. The texture is similar to succulent plants. It`s traditionally served with olive oil and lemon. A great addition to Pasta or salad.

Harvest: Harvest in bunches, when still small, older plants can become woody.
Growing Details: Seed has short viability sow asap. The seed also has a naturally poor germination rate. Germination may be improved by soaking the seed for 24 hours prior to sowing. Germination takes 7-21 days at 21-24°C.
