Bean Bush, Jacob`s Cattle

Jacob's Cattle beans are an heirloom of Prince Edward Island from Eastern Canada. It has a distinctive, white and maroon-mottled colour on a white coat. Jacob's Cattle Bean makes quite a nice snap bean before the seeds mature for winter storage. It has a rich nutty flavour with a dense and meaty texture. Excellent for baking and soups.
