Chervil (Anthriscus cerefolium)

This delicate culinary herb commonly used in French cuisine. A member of the parsley family. Chervil has a mild flavour with hints of anise.

Used in soups, salads, cheese and egg dishes. It is best added to a dish in fresh just before serving; it will not stand up to long cooking.
