Corn Silvermine

Corn, Silvermine (Zea mays)

Silvermine white dent corn that has large, heavy ears at 27-30 cm with creamy white kernels. The dried corn kernels can be used to make cornmeal for tortillas, Corn Bread, Corn Fritters, Grits (Corn Porridge) and much more.  White dent corn has a higher starch content than yellow dent. It has good resistance to corn earworms due to tight husks.
