Cucumber, Boston Pickling (Cucumis sativus)

Very old reliable pickling cucumber that was “improved” sometime in the 1950s.  It produces heavy yields of small 12cm cucumbers downright perfect for pickling. It is best to harvest cucumbers for pickles when they are 5cm to 12cm long. That way they fit in your jars!

Sow where:  Punnets or Direct

Spacing: 30cm apart, rows 1m apart

Position:  Full sun

Harvest: 50 - 60  days
