Lettuce Marvel of four seasons (L. sativa)

A great French heirloom introduced in 1885. This truly is marvellous lettuce, we would have to say it is in our top two favourite varieties. It has ruby red-tipped leaves that surround tight folded soft green hearts. The leaves are so tender it melts in your mouth like butter and adds real velvety texture to salads.
