Nigella Midnight

Nigella Midnight (Nigella hispanica)

Nigella midnight has delicate dark purple-blue petals with a beautifully textured centre. It makes fabulous cut flowers and the unusual seed pods can be used in flower arrangements.

Sow where: direct seed recommended

Position:  Full sun to part shade 

Flowering: Summer to Autumn

Growing days: 12 weeks

Growing Details:  Cover lightly with soil.  Sow 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Plants are sensitive to root disturbance.
