Tomatillo Toma Verde (Physalis ixocarpa)

Tomatillo originates from Mexico and Central America. Toma Verde tomatillos are tender, juicy, and crisp with a subtle tangy and sweet flavour. They can be roasted and served as a side dish and make excellent jams and chutneys. Harvest the fruit when the paper husks begin to dry and the fruits feel slightly soft. Ripe fruits pull easily from the plant.
